I know, we made E3 jokes, but this point can’t really be stressed enough. I really thought the industry bigwigs realized this. Even if your musical act has something to do with the games you’re going to show, at LEAST show the game on a screen during the musical presentation. Maybe it impresses some group that I’m not a part of that just wants to see that a company has enough money to throw around like this.

Everyone I knew who went to see Ready Player One on opening weekend also posted about going to see it on some form of social media. It made me feel like maybe I was missing something, like as a nerd, I am required to do that. Am I losing my nerd credentials? My extensive library of video games and toys tell me otherwise.
